About Me
Hi, I’m Wanda Dabkoska, MSTCM, LAc.
I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping therapy, moxibustion, gua sha, and diet and lifestyle coaching to help people experience immediate pain relief and long-term wellbeing. I also use other modalities that aren’t traditional but are related to acupuncture, such as, microneedling and trigger point needling.
My journey to Chinese Medicine is personal: As a young woman, I suffered from a skin condition that was ruining my life. Western medicine offered no cure. Seeking immediate relief, I visited a traditional herbalist, and started on a path toward natural healing. Grateful and inspired, I made the decision to begin my study of herbs and natural medicine. My practice started with a heartfelt commitment to my patients to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and transformative care.
My people are Japanese from Suo Oshima, Oishi at the base of Mt Fuji in Yamanashi, and Okinawa, Japan by way of Hawai’i, and Polish from Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Poland by way of New Jersey. I grew up on Ramaytush/Muwekma land (San Francisco), have lived on Ohlone/Lisjan land for 30 years (Oakland, CA).
On days when I’m not practicing as a healthcare provider, you will find me petting cats and dogs, crafting (fiber arts, pottery, woodworking, etc), cooking, or having a wander wonder in nature.
